Familiar
I had a great experience and the chef was very accommodating. I recommend visiting this little cafe when visiting Zitácuaro.
Pay attention, everything is frozen. I wouldn't dare to not recommend this place, but be very specific and tell the waitress to unfroze your dish before serve, almost everything seems to be watery. Because everything is frozen you may have to wait almost 45 minutes to get your order.
Great breakfast went there for a whole week to eat breakfast French toast coffee is great your French toast is served with fresh fruit whatever is available waitresses are friendly and the scenery is completely different from outside it is beautiful in there
Simple
I was recently based in Zitácuaro for three nights to go to El Rosario, travelling sola, and ate here two nights in a row. I was craving healthy food, and this restaurant was perfect. The first night I was perusing the menu at the entrance when a woman, perhaps the owner, warmly welcomed me in (not always the case when eating alone). I enjoyed a “meal” sized soup containing chickpeas, vegetables, and chicken. The second night i ordered chicken, with a large salad and refried beans. Prices were totally reasonable, in a lovely courtyard setting. Highly recommend.
Great meal
